Footballer David Barral, with spells at Spanish clubs such as Real Madrid and Levante, became the first player to be negotiated at Bitcoin (BTC) in the history of the sport. The news is from Crypto Adventure portal.

Barral, 37, is a striker and now a member of the squad for DUX International in Madrid, a team from the second B of the Spanish league, equivalent to the third division of the country.

Negotiation was facilitated by a Spanish cryptomaniac trading company, Criptan, which is a sponsor of DUX. The figures involved were not disclosed. The club announced Barral’s arrival on the social networks:

The first player to be negotiated in cryptomoranes, David Barral began his professional career in 2005, at Real Madrid, moving in the same year to the B team of the Madrid giant. In total, he played 50 matches for Real. In the following years, he played for nine seasons for Sporting Gijón, also a Spaniard, before moving to Ordu, Turkey.

In the last seasons he played for Racing Santander, also in the Spanish top division. He has also played for Levante (ESP), Al Dhafra (UAE), Granada (ESP), APOEL (CPR), Cadiz (ESP) and Tokushima Cortis (JPN).
